Dead Man's
Warning On
Asian Peril
NEW YORK.— The voice
of the late H. R. Knicker
bocker, freelance journalist,
who was killed in last week's
Bombay air crash, was heard
over an American radio net
work four days after his
death.
Knickerbocker recorded
his impressions of the ad
vance of Communism in
' Singapore before his fatal
trip began, and the record
was flown to New York.
In the broadcast, Knicker
bocker issued a warning that
'World War in. looks in
evitable unless the United
States throws her whole
weight against the advance
of Communism in Asia.'
'Communism,' he said, 'is
moving so fast that within
a few years Moscow may feel
itself ^strong enough to chal
lenge the power of the
United States;'
