WACHE.— In loving remembrance of my dear
father, who departed this life on November 6, 1886.
There is a path that leads to God,
All others lead astray ;
Narrow but pleasant is tbe road.
And Christians love the way.
It leads straight through this world of sin,
And danger must be passed,
But those who boldly walk therein
Will come to heaven at last.
And if my feeble steps should slide,
Or wander fiom the way,
Lord condescend and be my guide,
And I shall never stray.
