Copper or Chromium
The Parisian, woman has been a trifle
hesitant, about copper jewellery. Per
haps she has been so overwhelmed by
chromium that s-ho prefers metal in
smaller quantities, although she may
change her ,mind before the spring, says
a Londoner. In the meantime wide
wooden bracelets inset with metal studs,
and enrmous cuffs -of colored composi
tion, arc seen here and there.
The- woman woh possesses numbers of
narrow metal ones, of course, may; like
to copy the example of one girl seen at
hincbon in a fashionable cafe. She had
sewn hers on her black frock sibove and
below her elbow. She jangled monoton
ously every time she moved an inch, 'for
her armlets must have numbered nearly
40. and in consequence she anuo.vctl her
neighbors prodigiously. But she bad
proved : herself original, and was happy!
