Stole Tobacco,
Cigarettes
Theft of cigarettes, tobacco
and cigarette papers on Friday
cost dairy hand Herbert Harold
Willcock (23), of King Edward
Road, Scarborough, £5 in Perth
Police Court today.
He pleaded guilty to having stolen
ten cigarettes, six ounces of tobacco
and 44 packets of cigarette papers,
valued at £2/2/, property of Mar
jorie Higgs.
Detective-Sergeant Lamb said that ,
on Friday night locker rooms at i
Scarborough were broken into and
the articles enumerated in the charge
stolen. .
Inquiries were made and when
Willcock was questioned he admitted
the theft.
Willcock had been an Inmate at
Heathcote several years ago, the Ser
geant said.
