PUBLIC OPINION
VIEWS OF OUR CONTEWi
P0RAR1ES,
THE WEST AUSTRALIAN.
Regarding to-day's election, the 'West
Australian' states: — 'It is important,
no doubt, that the member be a true
representative of the constituency. Its
aims and interests, its progress and
improvement, 'ought to be among his
special objects, but to truly aid and
interpret these ne snoum tie a .-man
who realises th-e- greatness of his work,
to whom honesty and attention to jpub
, lie duty are engrained qualities of liis,,
composition. It is perhaps difficult. in
this world to secure virtues -which to
many seem' ideal, but at least every
one in their voter can go as near as
possible to achieving this result, and,
however1 alike in policy, , and in view
candidates may be, there is always,
It is well to remember, a. choice from
which all, for six years -to come, will
experience the ' inevitable' conse
quences.'
