The first meeting for the year of thej
St. Peters Women's Service Association,
held at the St. Peters Town Hall yester
day afternoon, took the form o£ an
American Party. Mrs. P. S. Smith
was convener, and Mrs. F. H. Stacev
presided.
The hall and the tables at which
afternoon tea was served were beauti
fully decorated with flowers. I
A report was presented on the work i
done by the association for the Fight- j
ing Forces Comforts Fund and for the
Northfield Infectious Diseases Hospital.
A musical programme was given by
Mesdames E. Willoughby. Page, and L I
Polglase.
The association will have charge ol
the laundry stall, of which Mrs. Stacey
is convener, at the combined charities
fair, which will be opened in the St
Peters Town Hall by Lady Muriel Bar
clay-Harvey, on April 11 and 12.
Tumby Bay.— Miss M. Mould, of Lincoln 1
Gap. Port Augusta, has returned honic from
the cull trip and a holiday at Einla station,
Tumby Bay.
