Minister explained tho measure ampowered
tho Government to sot apart for disposal

for grazing purposes. Tho term of lcaso
shall not exceed ton years, and in every

During tho tenth year tho lessee may apply
for an extension of tho term of lease,
which would be granted provided U19,Min
ister was satisfied that tho land was still
only suitable for crazing purposes, Tho
Minister can lease Crown lands within tho
boundaries of any town bv- public auction.
Tli'fi lease will be in perpetuity. The Min
ister may accept tho surrender of a settle
ment lease in anv caso whore ho bo
satisfied that the lessee Is compolled bv
sickness or other adverso clrcumstanccs to
leavo his holding. In this caso tho .lessee
will be entitled to tenant rights In im
