Queensland, to-day won tho New
South Wales King's Prize shoot
with thc record aggregate of 317,
points, beating P. A. Pavey's pre
vious record by one point.
G. Letts (Donald, Victoria) WM
second with 345 pts., counting out
C. J. C. Gall (Old.), also 343 pts. H.
Parker was fourth, followed by
P. A. Pavcy (Vic), each with 344
pts.
R. Greig (Great Britain) was the best
of the internationals with 341 pts., whilA
Sergeant J. E. Johnston and Colonel
Bodley (South Africa) were well up ig
the list. I
Corporal Hoddle (Great Britain), whdf
led at the end of the second stage,
seemed to show the effectR of tho hird
day's shooting, and finished with aa,
aggregate of 339 pts.
Buttsworth scored 49 at 900 yards,
while Letts finished with a^possib'.e.
It was the greatest prize meeting evei;
held in tho Empire, and the winner re
ceived £525, the second man taking;
£200.
Letts won the third stage after a tie
with Buttsworth, each with 148 pts.
