Privy Council at tho Palace, Hon.
Stanley Baldwiu (Conservative)

for half an hour. This evening
Sir Austen Chamberlain (Conserva
tive) had audienco with tho King.
Later, another meeting of Cabinet
was hold at tho Houso of Com- '
mons, at which, it is understood,
tho political situation was further
,oxaminod.
It is now considered probablo that
a formal announcement rognrding de
velopments iu tho political field may
ho deferred until next week. Tho Prime
Miuistor (Hon. Bamsny MacDonald) is
due to leave London to-morrbw morn
ing for Seaham, whore ho will address
his constituticnts in tho ovoning.
It is understood tho live Liboral
members of tho National Cabinet have
decided to romain in tho Government,
despito Mr. Lloyd George's advice.
