CLASSIFICATION OF CANDIDATES.
The General Election for the State Par
liament takes place on Wednesday next,
and the most interesting result, at the out
set, will be tie effect of the poll on tha
continuance of tie Throssell Ministry. The
following is a list of the candidates for the
various constituencies, with their party
pronouncements. The letter L. signifies
the candidates selected by the Political
Labor Party ; M. signifies the candidates
who have expressed their intention of sup
porting the Throssell Government; N. is
applied to tie nondescripts who have class
ed themselves as 'independents,' and have
declined to tell the electors whether they
will support Mr. Throssell or not; and O.
signifies a candidate who has pledged him
self to vote against the Ministry and secure
a change of government. Tbe list has been
compiled from the speeches of candidates,
but any who consider they are improperly
denominated are invited to supply correc
