Copper for Neutrals
LONDON, Saturday.
The "Daily Telegraph's" correspon-
dent at Washington states that Sir
Edward Grey informed Mr. Bryan that
Britain will permit shipments of cop-
per to neutral countries contiguous to
the countries of the enemy, provided
that the shipments do not exceed the
consumption of those neutral coun-
tries, and provided, further, that a
guarantee be given that the shipments
will not find their way to the enemy.
