From the jump the play was of the
''willing'' order, though not charac-,

Sweetman was first - in possession, but
Bovell, marking in the teeth of the

nonce, but Sharpe, grabbing the " ap-
ple of his eye" opened East's account
with a minor. Gravenall marked from
the- kick in, but his' attempt on the
EJF. jcrtàtdel, after a good run, proved
futile. - vThe game still continued last ?
and hustling, the ball being, now up,
now down. Hesketh shone for East,
