« V3? ?.ubl,ic are invited to participate in this magnificent
flbral festival by entering exhibits in the following competi
tions i^—
Section 1.— FLORAL CARPETS— To be made from real
flowers to a size not exceeding 7 f t. x 4 ft., and not less than

Section 2.— DECORATED SHOP WINDOWS— Confined to
business premises in the city area and at street level Real
flowers to be used but backgrounds of material with china
figures, mirrors, etc., will be permitted.
Section 3.— FLORAL DESIGNS— An opportunity for socie
ties and others who desire to construct something spectacu
lar out of real flowers. Some of the most beautiful designs
displayed on previous Flower Days were entered in this sec
tion.
For each of the above sections prizemoney as under has
been allotted: —
1st Prize, £5/5/; 2nd Prize, £3/3/; 3rd Prize, £2/2/.
If 10 or more entries are received, a 4th Prize of £1/1/
will be awarded. ?
Non-Competitive Sections
, Entries are invited for the following sections, which
ire non-competitive:—
Section 4.— FLORAL EMBLEMS-^Space has been allotted
,o Schools, Clubs, Associations, etc., for the construction in
lowers of their emblem or badge. Regimental badges and unit
:olor patches of ex-service associations will be prominent in
;his section.
Section 5.— MINIATURE G ARDENS— Ample space will
-e allotted to nurserymen and individuals who desire to en
er a garden. No direct advertising will be permitted, but
lames of exhibitors may be clearly shown if desired.

FLOKAL PROCESSION
., Jn conjunction with the above Committee, the Legacy
Jlub will conduct a procession of Floral Floats through the
treets of Adelaide. Many business houses, municipal bodies,
