and 25 bales 1R cz. clianged hands at 2/7, 10 bales
at 2/71, and the closing price was '2/S. Wool
packs; were alFx- firm at 2/4 to 2/-1.J. Cot-nsacks
were ouote.l at '1/1 1 to -7/ on spot. About 10 tons
of liarWire landing was placed at £13 10/ for
12 gausrc and S.U 15/j for 14 piugc. American
and fiernun wire was in demand at £S 5/. and
£8 10/ for J»os. S and 10 respectively, and about
GO tons was spld. Tinpiates were taken at 15/ on
spot and to arrive. Wheat was firm at 3/71 for
prime milling, and holders wanted an extra half
penny: f.a.q. was sold at 3/',- Flour was quiet aud
steady at £7 15/ Jo XS 5/.
