TWO CHILDREN KILLED.
THROWN FROM A TRAP.
Perth, August 6.
When harnessing a horse to a sulky yes-
terday Arthur Hedlow, a baker at Mount
Kokeby, omitted to place the bridle on the
horse. After his wife had placed her five
children in the trap, he went to put the
bridle on, but the animal bolted. The
children were thrown from the sulky, and
two of them, aged five years and nine
months respectively, were killed outright.
The other children were uninjured.
