CRICKET.
THE ENTHUSIASM OF BARDSLEY.
W. W. Bardsley and H. Carter, two of
the Australian team, returned to Sydney
by the R.M.S. Orsova on Saturday. As
showing how keen Bardsley is on the game,
it may be mentioned (says the "Sydney
Morning Herald'') that he arrived at the
wharf, at about: 1250. and he was at Wentworth
Park at 2 o'clock, ready to go in
first for Glebe against Central Cumberland.
Naturally he met with the warmest of re-
ceptions. Carter was a spectator at the
Waverley versus Sydney match at Waverley.
Both cricketers are in good health.
Bardsley has put on a little flesh.
