IMPORTS.
- March 24.-Loongana. t.s, from Mel
bourne. 430 cases fruit, 50 cases O.T., 26
lengths pipe, 70 cases. butter, 24 steel
wheels, 178 cases sultanas, 30 sacks saw
dust, 125 cases kerosene, 59 ingots zinc, 79
sacks seed, 20 bags onions, 1 horse, and
sundries.
Kar:tane, s., having discharged her
cargo of coal at Beauty Point, sailed at
6.40 on Thursday morning for North-West
Coast ports, where she loads produce for
Sydney.
IKarorl, s., entered Tamar Heads at 7
o'clock yesterday morning from New
castle, and proceeded to Beauty Point
to land 500 tons of coal. After discharg
ing at the river port she comes up to
the river to discharge 1135 tons. Cap
tain Murray, late of the Wainul, is in'
command of the Karorl.
Loongana, t.s., arrived here at 0.30 on
Thursday morning from Melbourne. She
left the Victorian capital at 4.10 on Wed
nesday afternoon, cleared Queensoliff at
7 p.m., and entered the Tamar at 0657
am. on Friday morning. light variable
winds and smooth seas were experienced
on the run across the Straits, The Loon
gana sailed on the return trip at 2.15 the
same afternoon. She is due here again
about 9 o'clock this morning, she hav
ing left Melbourne yesterday afternoon.
Moerali, s., from New Zealand ports,
arrived at Hobart at midday on Thurs
day. She sailed again at 6.20 p.m. for
Melbourne, after working cargo.
Patrol, cable steamer, which is at pre
sent engaged at work with the Eastern
Extension Company's .rables, entered
Tamar Heads at .4.20 yesterday after
noon, and auch9red off Middle Island.
Llimaroa, s., arrived at Hobart at 8.15
on Thursday morning from lMelbourn(.
After working cargo shei sailed at ,1.:5
p.m. for New Zealand.
Westralia, s., from Sydney, arrived at
Hobart at ]1.:10 on Thuraday morning.
Wareatea, s., entered 'Tamar Heads at
7 o'clock yesterday evening from Mel
bournc.
