November 10. Anniversary services in
connection with the local Methodist Church
were held on Sunday by the Rev. J. Gillingham,
The Sunday-school children rendered
appropriate music, and the church
was tastefully decorated. The congrega-
tions were large. The annual tea was held
yesterday, but unfortunately the weather
was unpleasant and the attendance moderate.
In the evening a public meeting took
place in the church. Addresses were given
by Rev. J. Gillingham and Messrs. S. I.
Robinson, sen., T. B. Brooks, and others a
