been a vtry fair supply of wheat for this market by the

Drapery. — The market is in a more healthy state, and
goods in demand have brought fair prices.
Sugars.— Baw sugars, especially Pampanga, continue
dull of sale; the trade being unwilling to augment their
stocks at a time when several large vessels with cargo,
to different importers, are overdue from Manila. The
large demand for refined sugars still exists, and prices
have an upward tendency. The Sugar Company's quo

follow:— Loaf, £33; snowdrops, £50; crystals, £45 to
£46; pieces, £4i; treacle, £20; Java, £30 to £35;

In groceries there is a little alteration to notice since
our previous report. The arrivab, which consist of fire
vessels from England during the last few days, have
brought full supplies of assorted stock, more especially
candles, dried fruits, and provisions, all of which ate
very saleable, except butter, which continues without
enquiry.
