INCREASING GERMAN CREDIT
CANBERRA, Wednesday. - The
Minister in charge of trade treaties
(Sir Henry Gullett) has expressed the
view that the failure of the German
and Italian buyers to operate on the
Australian wool market is a factor of
first importance lu contributing to,
the depression of the wool prices. He
agreed that competition from these
two countries would be markedly bene-
ficial. The Ministry., he added, was
exploring the possibility of increas-
ing German credit in Australia to en-
able Germany to buy more Australian
goods. .
