Prayer For Industrial
Peace At Launching
SYDNEY, May 27.
A special prayer for industrial
peace was said by a clergyman at
the launching of an Australian
naval vessel at a New South Wales
dockyard today. He asked for
blessings for the workers who had
built the ship and that employer
and employe should work together
in peace and war for the good of
humanity.
The launching was performed
by Mrs. P. C. Spender and was
attended by the Minister for the
Navy (Mr. Matin), other naval offi
cers, and Mr. Spender, MHR.
Conforming to Australian ship
yard practice, the keel of another
vessel was laid at the time of the
[launching.
