For £1,800

sales of houses and land.
The house has a frontage of

depth of 99ft. and -is situated
close to South Beach. It has
three main rooms, a kitchen, a
bathroom, a laundry and front
and rear verandahs and is sew

and advanced by £250 bids
to £1,500 and thereafter by
£100 bids to £1,800, above
which figure no-one was pre
pared to make a bid of £25.
The highest bidder was a young
ex-serviceman.
The vacant block also meas
ures 49ift. by 99ft. Bids
ranged from £100 to £210,
the highest bidder being an
