DIVORCE PETITIONS.
Seven divorces were granted by Mr
Justice Wolff in the Supreme Court
yesterday. The parties were as fol
low, the petitioner being named first
in each instance:
Ernest George Riley v Gladys
Annie Flora Riley. Ground: Deser
tion.
Mary Jane Skuthorp v William
Strahan Skuthorp. Ground: Deser
tion.
Mabel Annie Creighton v Samuel
Leonard Charles Creighton. Ground:
Desertion.
Gerald Percy Wild v Winifred
Elleen Wild. Ground: Desertion.
Gerard Frederick Bogue v Mary
Enid Bogue. Ground: Desertion.
Lille Muriel Dorothy McKenzie v
William Robert Joseph McKenzie.
Ground: Desertion.
Judgment was reserved on a case
in which Clara Elizabeth Rutherford
sought divorce from Douglas Ruther
ford on the ground of his adultery
with Marjorie Dorothy Jean Staples.
Irene Elizabeth Davenport was
granted a divorce from Albert Roy
Davenport, on the ground of de
sertion, with the proviso that proof
of service of the divorce papers on
the respondent must be furnished.
In a case in which Betty Eileen
Lee petitioned for divorce from
Arthur Joseph Lee, on the ground
of the respondent's adultery with
Billie Grundy, the Judge directed an
adjournment for the production of
corroborattre evidence.
Mr S. E. Tippett appeared for all
the petitioners.
