Coming-of-Age Party.
IMRS. R. Poole, of Wardee-street, South
Fremantle, entertained at the Vic
toria Hall, Fremantle, recently, in honour
of the coming-of-age of her daughter,
Joyce, wearing black and gold georgette
with a shoulder spray of Talisman roses.
She received over 150 guests. Miss Joyce
Poole chose mauve georgette embroid
ered in sequins. Dancing was enjoyed.
novelties and favours being distributed.
At supper, the customary toasts were
honoured, and the traditional key pre
sented. Speakers were Messrs. Crow, F.
Choulis. F. Harrington and C. Edmonds.
Mr. P. Sack presided over the dancing
arrangements.

mantle by the Otranto tomorrow from
London. She will stay with Mr. end Mrs

Grove.
Mrs. E. Gibbs, formerly of Mt. Helena.
Is the guest of her mother at Swan-street
Guildford, before. leaving for Albany
where she will make her future home.
Miss Shirley Read, who has been on a
visit to friends in Victoria, will return
to Perth by the liner Dimtrooa. which k.
expected to reach Fremantle today. Shy
will be the guest of Mrs. John Brinkley.
