POLITICIAN'S SONS.
SYDNEY, Dec. 13.-Mr. Neville Stew
art, son of Sir Frederick Stewart, M.HR.,
has just completed his medical course
at the University of Sydney. Mr. Harold
Stewart, Sir Frederick Stewart's eldest
son, is taking on agricultural science, and
entered the university at the beginning
of the year, while Sir Frederick Stewart's
third son, Mr. Raymond Stewart, has set
out to become an accountant.
Sir Frederick Stewart, in the space of
a few years, succeeded in building up one
of the largest private transport systems,
if not the largest privately-owned chain
'of bus services, in the southern hemis
phere some years ago, but his buses as a
private enterprise were forced off the road
as a result of legislation. One of Sir
Frederick Stewart's sons admits with a
smile that but for that circumstance he
and his brothers might now have been
engaged in the bus service instead of en
tering professions.
