OBSERVANCE IN SYDNEY
Sydney, Monday.
Anzao Day was celebrated in gwi>
mis weather. Returned soldiers and
sailors under Ibo command of Major*
General Sir Granville Ryrie, tba new
High Commissioner, assembled in Mar«

! civilian dross but wore their aernoa
I medals. Tho procession was headed by
tho Naval Reserve Band, followed hy
members of the United Imperial navy
and army veterans of New South
Wales, and a naval unit composed of
men from tho naval forces. Thé pro-
cession marched, to the Domain» thé
line of route being thronged by .thous-
ands of people. Precisely at ll O'clock
Sir Dudley de Chnir. the State Gover-
nor, and party arrived. An impressive
service was conducted by Chaplain- .
