M...I have now had a Holden car for three months and have
travelled 6,000 miles. From the first time I drove it I found
it ^-was extremely light, on petrol, but was amazed recently
when I tested it out. My Mail Run is a distance ot thirty
three' miles and I have to call at thirty mail boxes and I did
the trip on one gallon pcjtrol ...'

SCIENTIFICALLY BALANCED WHEELS
'RENO VIAL
RENOVIAL announce with pleaaure the
installation of .a modern ELECTRONIC
WHEEL BALANCING MACHINE of the
type now beng uaed extensively through
out America.
H«r« an tht raastns for balancing wbttls!
Due to the stnsitiva front «ft4 imchmical con
struction setup of the modern car, tyre unbalance cen
cause vibrations to the steering and car body.
The modem car is equipped with smoll diameter
wheels and large air section tyres running at low pressures
to give maximum comfort in riding. 'As a result of this
ohd the foster cruising speeds of today, tyre treads will
inevitably wear in small flats or irregulorities and in doing
so the. balance of the tyres is upset. To o certain ex
tent these uneven tread wears can be, corrected by sys
tematic changing of wheel positions but wheel balancing
greatly assists the eradication of irregular tread wear.
When tyre* are retreaded, it is often found neces
sary to reinforce the cosines where they have been
demoted by rood fractures— cuts from flints or sharp
pieces of floss. Our method of repairing in which the
tension cord patch is built into the tyre casing does not
weigh as much as the obsolete tyre gaiter but neverthe
less its weight is sufficient to upset the balance of the
tyre.
Longer tyre life can be expected if wheels are cor
rectly balanced.
Motor car bodies will have a longer life free from
rattles where wheel vibrations are corrected by tyre
Assured pleasure in Motoring Comfort. a^l^iji^^^U
