"Bid" Franck writes:- .
In . fte description of the fight last
Saturday night between Waddy and
myself, "Ringside" says;
The contest does not call for a de-
tailed description, as that would be
paying Francis and Waddy a compli-
ment they do not deserve. They
labored through 20 weary rounds.
There was nothing clever in their
work, and for all the impression they
made OQ "Ringside" they might haye
rehearsed the. bout BeTore coming
from Adelaide.
Allow me to say that I cannot under-
stand how anybody supposedly con-
versant with the game could form
that impression. Bince I met Waddy
in Adelaide 12 months ago we have
not been on speaking terms, in fact,
there has been what is known as "bad
blood" between us. Waddy also refused
I to fight me Iii Adelaide as he reckoned
tbat Mr. M. J. Noonan had not given
' him a fair go when he fought "Kid"
George. A* for the fight an Satm-daf
WW* I never fought . harder on*.
Waddy hit me quite a number of time!
contrary to all rules and I am sore yet*
Waddy also had to receive medical aid
before Monday morning. 80 how th»
impression COyld be formed that it waa
rehearsed beats me to a frausle. I have
no objection to any opinion as to my
style of fighting, or my ability as ej
boxer, but I do object te "Ringside"
or any other pubUo man contending
that I fought « "rehearsed" fight
I when-such, is miles from fact.
