; INDUSTRIAL MATTERS
SYDNEY UNEMPLOYED MARCH
TO OFFICE OF ACTING PREMIER
' Sydney, Saturday.
Some of Sydney's unemployed, *ß
has become their daily custom, assem-
bled, onside', the Trades Hall yester-
day morning. They were addressed by
several speakers who complained of
the fact that the police had interfer-
ed with the procession on the pre-
vious day, and they blamed Mr. Doo-
ley for being at the back of all the
trouble. One speaker said: that Mr.
Dooley must be made to realise his
position. -
? After the addresses had finished the
men formed fours for their march to
Mr. Dooley's official residence in the !
Treasury buildings. A large number j
of plain clothes police marched with ;
the men, and others in uniform
watched the proceedings under the
direction of Inspector Mankey. The,
men were quiet and orderly, and did
nothing to cause the police to' inter-
fere.
