U.A.P. MEETING
Two Members Not To
Attend
MELBOURNE. July 21.
Because their request for a Joint
meeting of the Government parties has
seen ignored. certain discontented
U.A.P. members of the Federal Parlia-
ment will not attend tbe U-AJV meet
ing mhk-h Mr. Menzies has called for
Monday to discuss attacks on his leader
ship.
Mr. Hutchinson ?Vic.?. who made tbe
first public demand for a party meet
ing, and Sir Charles Marr <NJS.W.>,
announced today that they would not
attend the meeting. Some other mem
bers are expected to follow their lead.
Probable abstentions. Mr. My"**
said tonight, would make no difference
to tbe bidding of the meeting.
There seems to be no litriihwMl that
tbe Prime Minister win alter his deci
sion to restrict the meeting to member*
of the U-A-P.
"I think I have done what the people
