EXPLOSIVES STOLEN^
FROM QUARRY
Boy Arrested, Another
To Be Summoned
After investigating a report
that 600 detonators, a box of
gelignite, 30 fuses and other ar- <*>
ticles had been stolen from
Quarries Ltd.. Glen Osmond,
police last night arrested a boy
on a charge of shed breaking
and larceny.
Another boy was questioned
and taken to his home. He will
later be summoned to appear
with the other boy in the Chil
dren's Court.
Several detonators and fuses
were found in a heap of sand
near samp tennis courts on
South terrace, but a large num
ber of explosives in a red lea
ther bag are still missing. The
bae was reported to have been
also' hidden in the sand. '
Detectives will make another
search for the missing detona
tors this morning.
