KEEPING THE
CHILDREN
OCCUPIED
In an endeavor to help
solve the problem of keep-
ing children occupied dur-
ing the precautionary restric-
tions on their activities over tne
school holidays because of the
outbreak of infantile paralysis,
?The Advertiser" will publish
|daily suggestions for iheir en
itertainment.
These will include competi
tions for three age-groups tn
succession. Prizes win, be
offered in these competitions.
Competitions will be published

lished on the following Monday.
Entries for the special com
petition for scrapbooks will close
on January 31. The scrapbooks
will afterwards be forwarded lor
'the entertainment of infantile
paralysis patients in hospital.
Pr:zes of 15/ and 10/ will be
awarded for each age group in
jthis competition.

COMPETITIONS
(Girts and boys, i to 7 years.)
A prize will be given to the boy
or eirl in this age group who
makes the prettiest d'oyley from
a piece or colored or white
paper. Take a piece of paper
pbout 12 inches by 12 inches.
