The latest advices from Admiral Cou
bert do not confirm the report
current yesterday in regard to the
caDture of Sontav. . The French troots
succeeded, in occupying the Black
flags' outposts near Sontay, and after a
stubborn engagement they lost 15 officers
and 200 men. The losses of the enemy
are not yet known, but are believed to be
heavy.. An assault on the , fortress of
