FLYING HALO'S
PROSPECTS
IN SANDOWN CUP
FLEMINGTON TO-DAY
(From our special representative)
MELBOURNE, Apr. IR.-Fly
I J ny Halo bas jet to KMC st a
distance beyond IS furlongs,
j bot bis sonad second to Crom ls
in the Queen Elisabeth Stakes,
: showed that he possesses staai
I ina and should win the Saa
¡ down Cup at flemington an'
Monday.
Reg Heather, who rode Flying
Halo in the Queen Elizabeth
Stakes, expressed the opinion
tnat the horse, would be unlucky
to be beaten. 4 '
\ The hardest for Flying Halo
to beat- may be Wodalla, but
Chidden is .another with a great
chance.
Wodalla failed badly in the
Easter Handicap, the opening
day fixture, but bu form was too
bad to be true. Chidden bas
been relegated into second place
at his last two starts and with
any luck at all would have wan
both races.
The best wager appears to be
Clear Springs in the Avon handi-
cap, but Eldon in the Stratford
handicap is another who appeals
as a sound investment.
