REJECTION OF
CREDENTIALS
DELEGATES TO CLERKS'
r CONFERENCE
: MELBOURNE, Mar. 22.-The
Federal council of' the Federated
Clerks! Union had rejected the
credentials . of delegates from the
Central and South. Queensland,
Tasmania. Western Australia and
Broken Hill branches, the secre-
tary of the A.I/J». Clerical Work-
ers* Group (Mr. J. Henry) said
to-day. It was claimed at the
conference, which was now in ses-
sion at Nowra, that these
branches were either unfinancial
or that there were deficiencies in
their rules.
' ' -'It" was significant that dele-
gates, whose credentials were re-
fused were from branches which
were - not Communist-controlled.

roup had campaigned vigor-
ously to take control of the Vic-
torian branch from the militants
. in the present elections, which
close to-morrow at noon, . said
