MOONEE PONDS CREEK IN FLOOD
Alter the Mg floods of 1937, the!
Melbourne and Metropolitan Board of
Works spent £22.000 on flood preven- j
tion in* this area, and it was then
considered safe. To-day. however.
Moonee Ponds Creek is rising rapidly,
and the flooding of all the houses 'in
Bent-street appears likely. ;
CEMETERY FLOODED.
