Butter.—With the advancing season produc-<*>

Cheese.—Production is now declining
slightly, but sellinfr values are unmtered. Fully

Eggs.—Tbe supplies received In our egg de- ,'
partment this week were heavy and the surplus
is being manufactured into egg pulp. Buying
rates are without alteratton/New laid. dean,
export grade, l'/t oz. and over, delivered twlc*
weekly, to 1/ a dozen. Ordinaries lower, ac
cording to quality. Collectors' consignments,
average price 9.id. a dozen.
Bacon.—Consumption is being well main
tained, and there is a stronger demand for
Christmas hams. Quotations are unchanged
Sides, 1/1 a Ib.; middles. 1/1 to 1/2; rolls,
10'.4d. to llMzd.; raw hams, to 1/4; cooked
hams, to 1/6. Lard in prints, 6d.
Almonds. —Consignments are clearing readily,
and we are purchasing any quantities for
prompt net cash at the following prices:—
Softshells. Bd. to B'Ad. a Ib.; clean brown
Brandts. 9'£d.; Brandis, Bl4d. to 9d_; hard
shells. 4'4d.; f.s.q. kernels, 1/11 to 2/; Bran
dis kernels. 2/1 to 2/2; Callfomlan papershell
kernels. 2/5 to 2/6.
Eoney.—Moderate demand U being experi
enced at 3d. to sd. a Ib. *
Beeswax. —Is in good request and quotations
| have advanced, 1/7 "i to 1/B',i a Ib.
Live Poultry.—Moderate supplies were sub
mitted at each of our sales this week and there
was kern demand as buyers are now purchas
ing their Christmas requirements. Send your
consignments to us. Crates loaned free.
Sales daily. Carriers collect from all train*
and depots. Prices ruling at present are:—
Cockerels, 3/ to 6/2; chickens, lower: hens,
from 2/1 for Leghorns to 4/6 for heavy breeds;
weedy sorts, lower. Prime young Muscovy
drakes. 6/ to 7/4: ducks. 3/6 to 4/6; ordinary
ducks. 1/6 to 3/3: ducklings, lower. Tur
keys, 7d. to 1/ a Ib. live weight: poor and
crooked breasted, lower. Pigeons, 7d. each.
Potatoes and Onions.—Orders supplied at
market rates.
