EASTER TOUR.
Flinders Bay Excursion.
The Commissioner of Railways (Mr. J.
A. Ellis) said yesterday that a railway
tour of the Flinders Bay district would
be conducted during the approaching
Easter holidays. The outing would be on
somewhat similar lines to previous ex
cursions to that locality. The Itinerary
provided for motor tours, launch trips
up the Blackwood River, cave and light
house inspections and picnic outings, while
the free periods during the stay at
Flinders Bay permitted the enjoyment of
swimming, fishing and walking. A few
hours would be spent in Buselton during
the homeward journey. The train would
comprise firt-class sleeper coaches.
lounge, dining and shower ears, and the
inclusive fare, covering all incidental ex
penditure, had been fixed at £6/10/. The
rail timetable provided for departure from
Perth at 7.50 pm. on Thursday, April 14.
and a return to the city at 8 a.m. on the
following Tuesday.
As the accommodation was strictly
limited, intending patrons should make
early application for reservation at the
Goverament Tourist Bureau, Forrest
place, Perth, or at any of the Govern
ment railway stations.
