Co-operative, Ltd., report as follows on today's
eales:
VEGETABLE8.---Cabb? e came to ?band freely
and eased in values. Prime beans and peas
frmned again. fwedes and pumpkin were stesdy.
Potatoes were plentiful and easier in valnes
Quotations were:-Potatoes, 7/ to 816. Pump
kin, 6/ to 8/. Swedes, 10/ to 13f. Cabbage,
bags, 8/ to 8/; half-bags, 216 to 6/. Peas,
4d. to 7d. Beans, poor, ld.; prime, Sd. to
5id. Onions, brown, 121 to 131. Rhubarb,
3d. to s8d.
POULTRY.-Moderate supplies were forward
to a fair demand. Quotitions were:--Cockerels,
light, 41 prime. 816. Hens, light, white, 8/1?
prime, e/9. Gobblers, medium, 22/; prime,
28!. Turkey hens, good, 151.
EGGS.--odemrte supplies were forward to a
demand. Country new laid were 1/6 a
o and country stores, 1/8.
FRUIT.--Good supplies were forward. Prime
apples were steady. - - Navel oranges were in
demand. Lemons were short supplied and
values -were good. Good qa.lity-grapes -s?d
well. Prime eating pears st .e .n. demand. To
matoes were short -sumpplied --sd firmed 'slsrply..;
Other tes sold well at late rates. Qot?tions
