PROCEEDINGS IN PARLIAMENT.
Tuesday. November 21.
In the Legislative Council
Mr. Babbow's motions relating to a map of the
Northern runs and returns respecting them were
carried.
The Supreme Court Amendment Bill was read a
first time.
The Bank of Adelaide Bill was carried through
Committee.
The Council adjourned till the following
Thursday.
In the House of Assembly—
A number of questions were asked and
answered.
The Accidental Deaths Bill was read a second
time and passed through Committee.
Resolutions were passed with respect to the
Licensed Victuallers Act, and a Committee
appointed to bring in a Bill in accordance with
them.
Supply was further discussed in Committee, and
the debate was adjourned until Thursday next.
Messages were received from the Governor in
reply to addresses, and a Committee was appointed
to prepare a Bill.
A petition was ordered to be printed.
Leave was given to the Hon. A. Blyth to intro
duce a Bill to amend the Road Act of 1S65.
House adjourned until next day.
