His-Honor./ Judge Jameson.: at' the
opening of thc sittings of the Oistrict

ed comment on a leter, received ; from
the-Town Clerk, requesting that" the

on the «ury. . . - *
.-.His Honors remarked that the fact;!
of Seaton'S being a municipal inspec-

him, and there was no special reason
assigned in the Town Clerk's letter.
The task./'sanitary inspector" -was
somewhat connected with the Coun-
cil. '. The Mayor and Aldermen" were
exempt,/but he doubted whether
"sanitary"" inspector" came Under thc
definition of municipal inspector.
. Asked by His" Honor what. pay he :
received. Seaton, who was' in court,"
answered, "14/6. per. day." /í"* //^
