TENDERS FOR MAKING ROAD.—
A TENDERS are invited by the Council of
the Town of Kensington and Norwood for the
CUTTING, WATERTABUNG. FORMING, and
METALLING the ROAD known as Dequettvilie
terrace or No Man's Land, from the Britannia
Public-house to the junction with the main road at
Bailey's Corner.
The metal is to be 23 feet wide in the middle of
the road, and. the footpaths on each side of the
road aie to be 24 feet wide. The metal will, at the
option of the Council, be oi either of the three
following kinds :-
L The bed or bottom coat six inches thick of
unscreened gravel, and four inches quarry nieral.
2. Six inches limestone, and six inches quarry
metal.
3. Six inches unscreened gravel, and four inches
gravel screened and broken.
The footpaths will have to be properly coated
with sand or clean gravel screenings.
Parties tendering for the work may include all
or either of the above descriptions of the metal.

may be seen at Mr. Moulden's Offices, 91, King
William-street, Adelaide, on and atter Wednesday,
