principal items on tirhe programme were bongs,

Sydes, Mrs. Smith, Meosrs. Al'Leod, Jackson,
and Cheek; readings and epoeohel by M~ensrs.
Chock and Jackson, recitations by Blisa Shaw
and Mlaster Syds and IIlodgotts. The meoting
olosed with the customary votes of thanks to
the chairman, the accompanist, and thoso ,who
had contributed towards the evening'a enjoy.

sidering the weather, as it was raining hard
nearly all the evening; the number present was
estimated at about seventy. It was announced

for the future.
The weather is still very boisterous and
rough, with occasional showers of rain.
