QUAIRADING.
Tlie Quairading and Surrounding Dis-
tricts Agricultural Society's Annual
Show was« held- on September 17 in glori-
ous weather, end was attended by over
1,300 péople. There were between 230
and 300 motor cars around the ring.
A noticeable feature of the show was
the large number of sheep on exhibit.
Sonic very fine young rams were shown.
The principal prize-winners1 were Messrs.
Johnston and Sons, who. won the Falk
Cup for most points in all sections;
?Messrs. Baifcie Bros., who won the pat-
ron's cup for most points in the sheep
sections; Mr. S. C. Dall, who won the
Macdonald cup for most points in wool
sections and also thc gold medal for
champion merino ewe. The president's
cup for most points in stock sections was
won hy Mr. H. Padgham. and the Scott
cup, ftor most points in ring events, was
won by Mr. S. JÍ, Spence, while Mr. E.
W. Shenton again secured.the gold medal
for the champion merino ram. The prize
