HENNAH—FOSTER.
A correspondent writes :—A very pretty
wedding was recently celebrated in the
Roman Catholic Church, Maylands, the con-
tracting parties being Mr. Walter H. Hen-
nah, eldest son of Mr. W. R. Hennah, of
Ballarat, Victoria, and Miss N. Foster, se-
cond daughter of Mr. W. Foster, of Perth.
The Rev. Father White officiated. The
bride was attended by Miss H. Dance as
bridesmaid, and two little girls—E. Crouch
and D. Dance—as train-bearers. The bride-
groom was supported by Mr. S. Hennah as
best man. The bride, who was given away
by her father, Mr. W. Foster, looked charm-
ing in an empire gown of white crepe-de-
chine, the usual wreath and veil being worn.
A choice bouquet was carried, the gift of
the bridegroom. The bridesmaid's dress was
of white organdie muslin, tucked and trim-
med with Valenciennes lace, a becoming
blue hat, wreathed with pink roses, being
worn, a pretty bouquet of carnations and
asparagus (the gift of the bridegroom)
being carried. The little train-bearers, who
looked exceedingly pretty in pale blue silk
dresses, wore rosettes in the hair and car-
ried baskets of pink and red carnations, the
gift of the bridegroom. After the ceremony,
the bridal party drove to Ivy Cottage,
West Perth, where the guests, some of whom

had journeyed from Geraldton and Mount
Magnet, were received by Mr. and Mrs.
Crouch. A delicious repast was partaken of
and the beautiful wedding cake was cut by
the bride. The usual toasts were honoured.
The bride's travelling-dress was of green
silk voile, having an empire effect, trimmed
with filet lace, and a violet straw hat, trim-
med with roses. Many valuable and costly
presents were received.
