Acceptances Today
Horses not scratched for all events
to be run at the March meeting of the
S.A. Jockey Club at Morphettville on
Saturday before 2 p.m. today will be
considered acceptors, and their nomi
nators held liable for all fees payable
at scale.
The following scratchings were re

Xracfc Notes
H. McConnell has placed Top Speed
again in training at Morphettville. He
has had a good spell, and looks in first
class condition.
Gay Girl is again in training at
Morphettville.
The Night Patrol horse. Outpost, was
sent by his trainer, C. H. Whittle, to
Victoria last week.
In training at Victoria Park is Capi
tally, who recently met with a fair
measure of success around the river
districts. Capitally is being trained by
T. Matthews.
S. Tonkin, the Victoria Park trainer,
has taken in hand the Prestongrange
gelding, Granton, who appears much
benefited by his recent spell.
Melbourne Jottings
Mr. J. A. Phillips has placed Pris
matic on the sale list. Dandalla, pur
chased by J. Holt for 950 guineas last
week, has been sold by him to Mrs. L.
R. Buxton. Holt will continue to train
Dandalla.
E. Temby intends to spell Spanish
Isle on his property at Mordialloc.

Nominations far the Amateur Turf
Club's March 23 meeting are due at
the Part Adelaide Racing Club's Office,
before 4 pjn. on Monday. The events
requiring attention are:—£llo, Bon Bon
Hurdle, two miles HO yards; £100, Wil
gena Two-year-old, five furlongs; £115,
Turf Club Handicap, one mi;? three
furlongs; £110, Arnold Perry Steeple,
two miles; £100, Hishweigtit Handicap,
64 furlongs: £100, Campbell Park
Stakes, five furlongs.
Country Meetings
Nominations for the Murray Bridge
meeting on Wednesday, March 27. are
due on Monday, March 18, at Gor
don's Agency, at 4 pan., or with the
secretary (Mr. A. B. Noltenius). at
Murray Bridge, at 8 pjn.
Bookmakers wishing: to field efc the
Strathalbyn meeting next Wednesday
must lodge their applications before
3 pjn. tomorrow at Gordon's Agency,
or the secretary (Mr. G. D. Jones), at
Strathalbyn. The fee is £2 10/.

view trainers at both courses. Arrange

make the return Journey on race day
at excursion fares. Tie races wil! be
broadcast, and Sound Ray amplifiers
will be installed. Interstate, as well as
the local meetinp, win be given ampli
fication for the benefit of visitors. A

bookmakers' service will be available.
