Extrnc't from a private letter, dated
London, September, 10, 1S3S.
' ion will Tperceive by the newspapers that
Parliament hns been prorogneil. Tlie members
have all -ett town, mid thu ministers are rusti
cating j ami there is, as u^ual at this season, a
general cessation from all bat the ordinary public
business. Sir RiniiAim Buurke has gone to
Ireland, but will, I believe, return to London
after Christmas.
?? Parliament is not likely to be assembled for
despatch of business until February next, unless
indeed the high price of -:orn, or some unfurtu
nate turn in alfairs in Canada, should render it
necessary to callTftocether sooner.'
