from residents at the Leven against the
Main Line Railway scheme.

Laun!ceston and. FPestern nailroay.-The
consideration of the Enquiry Oommittee's
report was deferred until to-morrow.
Alcssages relative to several bills wore
broughl up from the other House.
The President of the Council stated that he
had received a subpoenato attend the Civil
Sittings' at: Launceston, as a witness in the
libel aition' by Doyno and others v. M'Millnn,
and to produce as evidence the exhibits given
in at the recent Joint Committee's.enqniry on
the-Western Railway.. Leave was granted
for the President to attend the Court.
