Bell & Westbrook sold by auction, at their
mart, yesterday, the house inll ellington-street
known as Branagrove's to Mr. J.D. iHatton for
£620, and an nllotment in Frankland.street to
.Mr. P. Allls for £29.

In prices of fat stock we have little or no change.
The market has been fairly supplied with fat
sheep, which have sold at late rates, and quota
tions remain the same.
Beef.-Good and prime qualities are very scarce,
and the quantity brought forward much
below requirements. We have a large
number to offer this week, for which we
expect good competition.
Fat Lambs.--Very few is; good quality sell
readily.
Store Sheep.-Wo have disposed of three small
lots, but at low prices, and do not look for
larger sales until after shearing.
Store Cattle.-A very larce number have changed
hands, and there are several purchasers in
the market for good lots.
Working Bullocks meet ready sale i only one
team offered this week, which sold at £10
per pair,
Afilch Cotcs.-We could place to advantage a lot
of twenty or upwards, but odd ones com
mand little attention.
Pigs.-Small stores sell well, also porkers; larger
plgs neglected.
Horses.-No improvement.
Our sale have been :--At Slaughter Yards, on
Tuesday-P.P. wotilers, 1ias d to 16s ; fat cows,
71 to 81 5s; heifers, 5615 to 71.--At Evandale,
on Thursday-Fat wethers, inferior, Bs ?d to 11s

ewes, 6s t fat lambs, 10s fat

Yesterday's Hobart Town papers report no 0
change. Breadstuffs dull of sale, and trasanotiocs v
are only of the barest local nature.

Wheat is quoted at 7s Od for best Adelaide. New 9
Zealand and 'Tasmanian wheat can be purchased d
