HOBART TOWN AND THE SOUTH.
On Friday morning a girl 10 years of age
named Mary Ann Bleonett, daughter of a fisher
man, was found dead In her bed. She had for
some tlmo been suffering from panls no her sids.
On the previous evening, she, without the know
ledge of her parents, procured some laudanum to
alleviate the malady. A portion of a cup of cof-ee
was in the room, and, on examination by
Dr. Stokell, sen., it was found to contain lauda
num. An inquest is to be held.
